INSTRUCTIONS FOR WORK SUBMISSION:
The summary (Template) of the work must be sent only electronically, through the email: 14sbfgnosia@gmail.com, with the subject "ABSTRACT - Name of the first author - Thematic.".
One author can register and present 2 (two) works, being able to co-author other abstracts. The abstract must be written according to the Abstract Template that can be downloaded from the link above.
Abstracts must be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English.
Abstracts must fit into one of the thematic sections below:

Isolation and structural characterization of natural products.
-
Biological activities of natural products:in vitro andin vivo.
-
Quality control of plant and herbal raw materials.
-
Technology of herbal medicines and phytocosmetics.
-
Pharmacobotany.
-
Ethnobotany/Ethnopharmacology.
-
Marine Natural Products.
-
Biotechnology of Natural Products: plant cell culturein vitroand biotransformation.
-
Phytotherapy.
All abstracts will be analyzed by the Scientific Committee. It is up to the members of the Commission and the reviewers appointed by the Commission to select and evaluate the works to be presented, rejecting those that do not comply with the Symposium rules, specified in these items. The results will be sent to the author's email.
The analysis of the abstracts will follow the aspects: clarity in the presentation; well-defined objectives; proper methodology; relevance of results; relevant discussion and conclusions.
The quality of the text (grammar, spelling and typing) is the responsibility of the author and will be considered as an evaluation criterion by the Scientific Committee.
Heads up: save the file with the name of the first author, followed by the choice poster or oral presentation and then the session number thematic, according example: Douglas SA Chaves_oral_2 ou Douglas SA Chaves_poster_7
Descriptions of projects, work intentions or works already published will not be accepted.
Paper submissions after the deadline will not be accepted. 30/03/2023.
